Welcome to AANA
We are a professional organization of Armenian Nurses in Los Angeles who are dedicated to serving the Armenian community, both in Armenia and the Diaspora. We meet once a month for educational dinner lectures, networking. AANA is very active and volunteers for various health projects throughtout the Armenian community, in collaboration with the local organizations such as the Armenian American Medical Society of California, Armenian Bone Marrow Registry, or local city agencies like Glendale Unified School District, LA County Public Health Department, to name a few. We are a 501c non profit organization.
As an active member of AMIC (Armenian Medical International Congress) AANA participates in AMIC's biennial International Conferences, by sponsoring a day of nursing workshop. The next Conference will take place in Los Angeles during the first week of July 2013.

Our regularly scheduled monthly meetings are on the second Thursday of each month, except for May of 2012. On May 3rd we will be celebrating Nurses Day at Glendale Adventist Medical Center. The celebration is full of surprises. Come and be part of our celebration!
We believe that education is the door to success. Therefore every year we give Nursing Scholarships to eligible applicants. 2012 Scholarship applications are available on the Scholarship tab of our website.
